Squeeze MONTHS of therapy into 1-3 days
I'm excited to share with you that REM Therapy Services now offers EMDR Intensives in person between Tuesdays through Saturdays at our East Markham office (55 Albert Street).
The primary goal for EMDR Intensives is to squeeze weeks or months of therapy into 1-3 full days. If you’ve been considering deeper trauma work and feel eager to move forward with the process, this may be a good option for you.
EMDR intensives are designed for:
✅ High-achievers who want faster results with less disruption to their busy lives
✅ Those feeling stuck in traditional weekly therapy and looking for a breakthrough
✅ Individuals navigating recent or past trauma who want to process it in a structured, supportive way
✅ Those experiencing more severe mood symptoms and seeking faster healing and relief
✅ Those who can’t commit to ongoing regular sessions due to work or home life but can dedicate a few days to focus on a specific therapy goal
With extended sessions over a condensed period of time, EMDR intensives allow you to make significant progress in a short time, helping you move forward with more clarity and relief.
An Investment in Your Healing
At the time of this post - EMDR Intensives are a higher priced offering at $1000 per intensive day. To break it down further; A standard therapy session costs $195 for 50 minutes, while an EMDR intensive is $250 per 60-minute session—but with a full-day intensive (10am-3:30pm), there is added value. Specifically, when prorated and adjusted for clinical time, there is only a $15 difference in the hourly rate between the general stream and the intensive stream. However, the intensive format includes refreshments, lunch from a local restaurant (we accommodate for your dietary needs), and a comfortable, distraction-free environment to help you focus entirely on your healing.
You'll also receive recommendations for a local bed & breakfast if you're travelling from out of town, to enhance your rest and respite as you're doing deep emotional work.
By condensing weeks (or even months) of therapy into 1-3 full days, you could actually save both time and money in the long run. You’ll reduce the need for weekly travel for example, and minimize time and emotional energy spent in prolonged therapy, and reach your goals faster.
If this sounds like something you may like to explore, please reach out and I'd be happy to answer any questions along the way.
